Can't believe this thread is still going.
The simple part of it is of course they have tightened up and if u r the only one doin one or have one somewhere remote then you will be fine.
If some1 is doing it or it's in a town center you might want to have a lot of money on you... :x
Or go back to the days of sharking machines.... might work in a spoons if u can be arsed waiting and watching

A couple of observations:
1. I haven't seen one offer MS in yonks
2. I've had several boards in recent days/weeks where the cashpot has burst through the £10 mark (one went to £24) but killed me.
Neither of the above seemed to be normal practice this time 6 months ago.

This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

What attraction is there in a machine that is always on it's arse and costs loads for a board ?Alpine021 wrote:Well apart from the odd nice one I think these are complete arses now. Since Sunday every single one has been an absolute nightmare despite showing all the signs.
The thing is like with all fruit machines a good win restores the faith a bit but in all honesty I'm almost scared to play one of these now.
Getting to an exchange bullet feels like christmas, rarely hits feature unless ur well into it, kills u first gamble pretty much every time u get mega start, rarely does £70s unless I'm £100 in.
When I take one of these on now I have to take a deep breath.
I bet the average punter prefers a star wars or a bell-fruit to these new reds. Everyone expects a JP now and then.
The new chip is absolutely fucked.
The 'joe player', CANNOT, EVER, win on this machine. They are absolultely nailed.
The happier it gets, the worse they play. Frequently take 20+ for boards and lose on VERY low wins.
I had one the other day, that needed to pay out so badly, but you couldnt win a gamble... what did it do? Drop a jackpot in on the bottom reels with ADD CASH arrows. How much do you think it went for? 50? 70? 105? £150?... nope. 35.
The only good thing about the new chip, is it doesnt matter how bad a state its in (or good), you rarely put more than 120 in for the first jackpot so you dont need to carry big floats anymore.
Ive noticed even the chefs have given up playing them now...
Bollocks to all you idiots!
