i saw a new bookworm at ATEI/IGE; it was on the GWHL terminals but i can't remember which developer had done it.
the bookworm adventures game ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bookworm_Adventures) is exceptional whereas this prequel is sluggish in comparison. tbh i didn't play it at ATEI, so can't have any comment about tweaked gameplay from the old SWP version. if it is as easy as the old release it will be worth playing but, given the recent fiasco with paragon updates, you'd hope they have learned a lesson.

the GWHL team were planning an update of wild machines in april so it might not be long before we see bookworm, MOTD and Track & Field. two of which looked very playable. i hope they ditch pub quiz.

I really enjoyed bookworm. I won a bit on it too. I played it on one of the old JPM Millionaire cabs (PROTEUS). You would be very lucky to see that anywhere now but if you do, giz a shout as i would like to relive my past triumphs once again...! :D

  (dollar signs for eyes)

bookworm was too easy to be a real game, just a temporary moneyspinner. vulgar: take the money, run and hope nobody saw you.
