it is indeed the biggest 'indoor' amusements in Europe, i'd say near 300 machines as a rough estimate, shame that 100 of them are bar X's

......still, it keeps the old folks warm in the winter with the 5p play and free tea

1500?
not a chance. maybe there are more than 300, prob 4-600 absolute tops? Are you classing a '9 sit-down Elvis' and a '6 sit-down donkey derby' as 15 machines? I'm only classing that as 2
You have to remember the whole of the lower floor is kids rides and ticket machines, surely you aren't counting them in?

its been a while since ive been to Blackpool think i went for 3 days with CMR. Bear in mind all the £5 jp as well. i medium sized nobles in a inland city centre would have 100-200 machines. so corlal would have loads more. It was when they still has the red alert, hot shot , red arrows and the stanley casino had a 1k slam in it thats how long it was. whether teh amount of machines has changed now, i dont know

theres still £15 jp battle axes that take a tenner for a board in there.

couple of red arrows, lotta lucks, adams families aswell.

the red arrows in there are the ones that boost you past red arrows back down to 50p aswell ha.

the battle axe plays bas because if i can remember on 20p a go ?

i seen a few dodgy progs in there also.

they had a £10 jp riverboat gambler emptyable on 20p but this one played really bad!! no lady luck, hardy any jokers and fivers hardly hold.

Its only the locals that really play the batlle axe anyway, if they see a few quid go in it then they're quite happy to sit on it for hours recycling until it runs again. Yet 99% of the time they're playing against themselves!!

Its still the same olf faces down there, good players and quite friendly to fair tho but I'm not sure I could spend my life in just one arcade for the whole season. Must be tiresome and very dull.

Does the lovely female engineer still work in there? Cracking bottom!!
