I heard a rumour that it's possible to lose on a no-lose gamble on an unchipped Donkey Kong, is this true?
I've only played this machine once, but not sure whether it was chipped or not. Seemed to play OK though.

I'm not looking for one, I was just trying to confirm wether that rumour was true. Tried searching for it but can't find it on this site at all.

Yes, it's true - you could easily lose on the Barrel Jump whilst in IM.
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

Was it also possible to get killed on the hi-lo gamble even with No Lose?

Well to find out if its unchipped then just hold down cancel every spin, you will soon find out if its chipped.
If you find an unchipped DK then you are probably the child of God
