"Calm down dears, it's only a short delay. And don't worry, all is fine in the world of unionjackpots.com. Well, almost. The games are on schedule, the site is nearly all plugged in and the fun is not far away, but the gaming license is. The application process is taking longer than we thought due to circumstances beyond our control and all we can do is wait for others to do their bits with bated breath. Beta testing is not far away and we'll be telling everyone about it soon."
Madness - Going to all that expense and work for development without getting the license first.
They've missed out big too - As everyone is sat at home because of the snow, the release date was PERFECT!!!.
And rest assured, if you did find something, it would be quickly detected and swiftly "re-chipped".
That's why what's he doing could be a cracking idea. Lots of people fed up with the crap selection of DOND-type offerings and would prefer to play old style AWPs with a decent chance of winning a jackpot. The medium of the Internet allows for a much richer style of feature games and could incorporate a variety of different "skills" to the player, i.e. not just skills that require fast reflexes. Games which were overpaying could be removed automatically (which has already started in the SWP market).
And you don't have to worry about anyone with electronic 2 pound bars. Yet.
Not having your licence ready in time though. That really is pissing with the lid down.
