I can't remember the last time I went on a word-up machine in London that didn't already have a 'Hyena' in the high-scores. If there were a prize for most machines played on, I think Hyena would win it.
Congratulations on breaking 2000, VB. That truly is an amazing achievement.
With words of 600+ and scores 2000+, perhaps the only remaining landmark is to get 40 words, unless some-one's already done that. I doubt it as it's not the most rewarding way to play the game.
Some-one mentioned that the new version of Word-Up now allows a few q-but-no-u words like QWERTY. Anyone know what the others might be?

Ernest says this rather dismissively, considering that I only managed this last Sunday, after he had somewhat disappointingly abandoned me to return to base rather than brave another day on enemy soil.Ernest W. The score is high because I cleared - lower clearances than that are very much still possible!

as well as travelling throughout the south, Hyena is into lets say recreational drugs too.
anyway afaik QWERTY is allowed but for some reason SQUILLION has been taken out, i'm sure i played that on the old version.
also i'm pretty sure i have cleared with 25 words before, no idea where though but i'll keep an eye out.

nobody ever wins on those things.
