As in horse racing information is king. If you know your local conference team all have the flu you might get a slight advantage or last year when a Scottish team were skint and the first team players refused to play you have a small chance. The big bookies employ professionals to price up the matches and with sites like oddschecker they are very close to each other. The bookies encourage accumulators because they are literally "mugs" bets. Doesn't stop millions of people doing them, though, myself included. Keep winning though and they will limit your bets.

I get info once or twice a month on fixed football matches in England and Ireland.

Yeah I hear the odd whisper as well. Apparently the Middlesboro vs Barrow FA Cup 3rd round tie is bent - it's been fixed so Boro win.

Fill your boots at 1/40
Stupid punters. Telly all the week, screw the wife Saturday

Hmmm. Arsenal are a decent price tonight...

EDIT: Even tho they'll be playing kids away from home and nobody gives a rat's ass about the Mickey Mouse cup.

Arsenal are an awful bet unless they are against big teams, which is the games they do seem to win!!!

Crazy stuff, shorten the agony and the house advantage by lumping 5k on Man U, but H2 has mentioned this already. The advantage of the 5p accumulator is that the most you can lose is 5p, or £30 on some Minoxidil to replace the lost hair that gets torn out when Fiddleton ferrets beat Man U away in an otherwise perfect session of results.

At 1/40 if you wanted to fill your boots you'd need balls so big you could use them as space hoppers and so that would negate the need for any boots that would need filling.

tbh, i'd never have considered betting on Arsenal last night. Burnley are a reasonable side, and they were at home to Arsenal's reserves. Had it been at the Emirates things might have been different but last night was no surprise to me.

I know. To be honest, I'm almost glad I lost it last night. Cos if I lost the 500 --> 1,000 quid, I'd have been REALLY pissed off.

If I was to give this £10k malarkey a punt I'd be backing Shrewsbury today at home to beat Rotherham as my first victory, 4/5 @ Corals.

Bury (6/4), Burton (11/10) and MK Dons (10/11) were all in contention too..........I think we know whats going to happen now though.

Last weeks win yielded £18 which will today be placed on Posh to beat Oldham at home, 10/11 @ Corals.

Hmmm, 2-0 up and failed to win. What makes this worse is the fact I had them in an accy which would of paid £408.61 if they won.

Bastards!! :x
