Doesn't affect me personally. Gave up years ago and got a job. Good luck to those that rely on fruits for a living when everywhere has video slots and the games are changed remotely.
Roulette free since December 2011.

You wouldnt think so with the likes of Rob from MK threatening people for playing there.

It doesnt work btw - the Northampton lads go there all the time and just laugh at him. What I cant understand is how they all make so much money there (most of them are absolutely useless).

Hardest thing about MK is finding the pubs as the 'town' is weird and doesnt have many pubs, even in the theatre district.

Yeah, i bumped into two northampton lads a few times ago i went there, sarge & his mate. Plugged the ape and lost a few quid but i'd done all the other main bits so they went elsewhere. Agree about finding stuff, though even away from the centre there isn't a great deal really. Couple in kempston/netherfield/peartree bridge etc, but you need to go a tad further to bletchley/fenny & stony stratford to makea nice run out of the place.

northhamptons black eddie???????

Lee I may be way off the mark here, but there are two players I see quite a lot around Hoouvooentry. There's an Asian guy, I've spoken to him a couple of times, forget his name now. He knows more than your average bear. Never seen him hit skill, but he does know his way around a few machines. He wears round glasses and has quite long straggly hair and often wears a fawn coloured leather jacket (he's not Jon Shuttleworth DG!). His mate, a black guy, is called Eddie. They play the pubs and the arcades and are definite 'players' although probably not high up on the Slammer graduated scale of player rankings.

This is indeed the Eddie that's been refered to in the previous post. The guy you are describing whom he often goes about with is known as Cat.

EDDIE!!! YES, YES, OH RIGHT! (tm)

Cat (asian with glasses) is in Scotland doing a Uni Course, but when he reappears at his family home during Hols (Northampton) he slots, in Houventry.

Eddie... er... Eddie lives in Northampton.

Eddie once threatened to have me killed for gettinh him barred from Bedford Reels (before anyone starts, I didnt, I really dont care about arcades full stop). When I stopped laughing and saw he was serious, I lost the plot. Seems a decent enough chap, but too much off the whacky-tobacy appears to have done some long-term damage.

We all have a laugh and joke about it now...

Anyway, neither of them are really players. Ive done some slotting with Cat and hes ok. He began from Leicester Nigel, when he moved to N'ampton (FFS, now Lee's gonna pop up again getting excited!). Cat made his millions from Extremes - this guy really doesnt care 8)

Eddie will not let anybody watch him Pick a reel a VIU, despite the fact he got it 6 months after everyone else in Northampton and is also the last trick he got AFAIK. Very strange character. He gets invited into town by Luke 'n Co so they can borrow (sorry, steal) money off him.

Seriously, Northampton requires a thread all by itsself.

Yeh, Sarge is nothing like Bic however and is a good lad. Often go drinking with him in N'ampton. Geezer is also so good at pool, its fcking pointless playing him cos you just dont get a shot unless you break!

Indi Sarge is not to be confused with Andy Sarge (another Northampton player) who is white (seriously, it does get confusing on the piss in Northampton)

I last saw Bic with Mart in Leicester when I was tidying up some win stoppers (which had gone on that visit) and he caught me with his Cluedo and Cash Attack in the Goose. I explained I wasnt interested in plugging the nuts out of it and left him too it, but strongly advised not to play the Cluedo after FP had done a blip-blip around the board.

Thing that made me laugh, was Mart (the player) was pleased to see me as we hadnt met since the last xmas piss up, yet Bic (the .. er.. I dunno what he was doing there actually) seemed pissed off I was in 'his town'. I'll never forget the day that Wayne 'almost' broke his leg outside Thomas's on our weekly Friday piss up. Boy, did that guy scream n cry or what?
