Number Runner is the best thing to take the slow down bonus, piece of piss once your used to it.

Star Choice is the feature that lights up a few cash amounts, say something like *.20, 1.*0, *.80, when you hit start it reveals whats behind the stars, usually worth £3-4.

Woo! Going back in time to '06! ;)

When it says 'Stepping Down', just hold the reels that you want and let the others go - 'generally' you can bring in blue sevens with this.

Remember to think ahead a bit, if you can't get a win directly on the reels can you keep enough numbers 'above' the winline that when you let them come down, they give you enough nudges for a decent win? A bit of nous and you should be on the £15 from 90%ish of Runners... (dependant on machine, of course!)

It's old news now though and not so beneficial on the newer breed of Reds (as it very rarely offers it!)

Here's some nuggets that took my fancy. Funny how our knowledge of Reds has changed, eh? :)
Mattb: Nope, beware of dead boards too. They often light all but one or two features red.....then don't let you get to the exchange point to spin the feature wheel. A red herring if ever there was one.
Me: Remember, Reds can go for over an 'Ayrton Senna' without seing a single board entry...

Mattb: Ive had Red Hi-Lo cash go for £6 and ive also had it go for £34...
Dunhamzzz: I hit stop + step pot on this today ! FUCK YEAH !
Me: Have had £15 once (ages ago!) (On Toggle Climb)...
Mattb: Ill say it again, red Hi Lo cash can be absolutely awesome.

Spyder: it only lets you get as far as it wants you to anyway. (Toggle Climb)

to be honest, i dont see what was wrong with my post saying toggle climb only lets you get as far as it wants you to?

it blocks at £5 £7 and £10? therefore, as far as it wants you to? anyone still got one of these with the "free win"

There's nothing wrong with it really. I sort of read it that 'if you cock up on the £3-£4 gamble, it'll still give you the £4 if it wants you to have £4. lol

Yeah that's fine....they'll go up to wherever the block is. I'd love a few old reds like Rocket Money/Giza/Pay Cheque/DNA to re-appear....can't see it though!

No. :( It is a shame though. They must've still made them a huge lump of money, but they were also profitable (and enjoyable!) for us lot.

Profitability now down.
Enjoyability now down.

I still have 1 Giza but i'm yet to find it ready in the 2 weeks i've gone to play it, talking about £25 reds, i found a holy moley today, full and ready, cost £20 for a top, the top awarded £25 and stopped but it was a £35 jp machine, ended up getting 2 tops both £25 and made £12 when it should have been £32, told the barstaff who said leave your name and number i did'nt bother (how could you prove it?) i've heard people say things can have the wrong decals but i've never had it till today, can you expect the extra money from an IOU? i'm very doubtful, thats why i did'nt leave my details.

Probably a decal error, as you say. I don't know where you stand with that sort of payout. Knowing most scenarios, you probably 'wouldn't' get it, unless there's a very friendly landlord present.

I had £65 in the bank of a failed Red: Treasure Hunt once. I went over to the bar, told the old boy that it owed me the money, he got it straight out of the till without even going to look at the machine! He just said "Turn it out on the way past fella, there's a good man!" Brilliant trust! :)

Yeh wrong decals Eddie, got one myself that says £35 but is still £25. No way to really prove it unless you get them to watch when you get the end and hope for it to go to the £35 on top of the pyramid even then you have got to have a friendly member of staff. At least you know for next time.
