Any idea who has produced it? Is it a clone of something already out (probably :( )

Not a very original name though, lol. :)

Its made by Electrocoin or Electronics - something like that. Not a direct clone of anything. Its a bit like High And Mighty. There's a round board in the middle, with feature stack on the left and cash stack on the right. If you drove past it quickly, you might mistake it for a Cluedo.

High & Mighty was an enjoyable m/c back in the day. Electrocoin on the other hand are a piece of shit, they don't even round up shrapnel...I took £3.40 the other day rather than £4 coz I like the thought of a 'free' 60p.

It wasn't forthcoming. :(

Wish they'd do a £35 version of Pyramid/Sphynx and those classics that use to have the big cashpots in the middle(melon exchange). What they were called??? Stairway to Heaven and something else? Awesome machines.

Yes they were hugely enjoyable games, excellent on £6 tokens.

Sphinx
Stairway to Heaven
Pyramid
Labyrinth
Secret Castle- looked exactly the same as Labyrinth.

There used to be a Pyramid in Electric Avenue in minehead, loved playing it, even at a loss.

Can anyone remember what was so unique about the hi/lo gamble?

2-12 instead of 1-12?

Hi/Lo buttons the 'wrong' way round a la AFU? (Caught me out once or twice!)

Great games as you say. Electrocoin did a £25 version of Labyrinth, but it didn't test very well. Saw a photo of it once in a bar in Leicester Square. Looked OK, but as with most games, the stake and prize ratio on offer today has killed it.

Pennies from Heaven
Space Trek
Grand Prix
Mr. Do
Card Sharp
Spanish Gold

All good games. Sphinx was probably my favourite because when you got a reel win you were guaranteed an exchange. Only downer was it used to spin the reels off when you got on the board, meaning there was no hold chance after. Used to love the way the mystery overlaid symbols would come in after a nudge, even with no hold or pair on the reels.

Last time I went into Stardust Amusements in Bridgend there was a Pyramid still in there. Always worth a tenner for the memories. 5p play £6 cash payout. The Skill Climb jumps off on £6, but with the repeat chance on £3 it's not the end of the world.

The £10 JP Pyramid in Kingston was removed recently having been there for yeeeears - great game I must agree and I miss playing it.

The Pyramid in Electric Avenue had a few lights out if I remember rightly ... and what better way to enter an arcade than to find a Viper Jive next to the door :)
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

As regards to Labyrinth, can anyone remember when it sometimes span in a win, mystery or feature after getting a repeat?

Why?

Answer will be revealed in a short while . . . . .
