I dont see how it could have being conned though if it aint got a note changer
Well you don't know about the bell fruit tool round the back then.. Or through a red changer. Or it could have been the old bar that clocks up credits....
erm the wire through the vent? the old bell fruit box clocking up 5p credits with box through the mech I sure have heard about theese!

BUT with the bell fruit box he would have had to buzz it up and put loads of value in the machine and then dump it then play it off and take a couple of pots to IOU it!!.
That takes long and with that tool I would reckon you would want to be in and out and not hanging around banking it as you wont even get paid there and then + when the engineer comes out hes gonna see its empty and refuse IOU!

The bell fruit box through the mech well the Panther cabinet will be the new model bell fruit cabinet and he aint said what mech its on so I highly doubt that tool would have being used!

He said there is not changer on it so that means no notechanger fraud!

I think its being played with someone putting loads over the back and getting a streak for free and then a players finished off,..... or a tooler has done it through the back and he aint even bothered killing it iff which is highley unlickely as I am sure he would have made sure it was dead so it would not empty.

i have been gamblin for many a year and doing fine for a good ten years,i have just read this whole thread and i would just like to add my thoughts....i have a job and love life i have no crim record(not saying i aint done anything wrong) and therefore have no reason to jepordise my well being by doing something illegal..........however and heres my point there are alot of people out there that r not in such fotunate curcumstances and tooling(which im clueless about) might be an option to them too good to turn down.........ie you lose your job, your skint cant find work and lifes shit-----your mate says do u wanna come out with me for the afternoon we can make some good money----theres a dilema......i dont agree with it in any shape way or form and the bloke who posted about puttin in a massive elec shoc to the tooleres had the right idea. We dont get toolers down our way so i dont think it affects us like some of u lot but if it did i think our solution would be to get together(even with some of the arcade owners) and nip it in the but asap whether that be a word in their ears nicely,or the arcade owners threatining the police on them....wat ever it takes really without directly grassing them to police(i dont agree with that unless its special cases ie harm against people/terrorism/abuse etc) i dont wanna sound dumb but is there no way the machine manufacturers can prevent this by building the machines differently!!!!

Please Mr Tooler, don't do my machines. The only people out of work where I live are the lazy, feckless or unemployable. Whilst I live in an affluent area, I realise that getting a job in some parts of the country is more difficult. I doubt if "toolers" are doing this to feed their starving kids.

Harry - always good to see ASCII man resurrected. Just at the exact required point, too! ;)

I see your point, but most of my cluedos and monopolys are going empty on me as they are due. So no, the tooler has not killed it off. Not all toolers are players/ex players... The panther could have been lock picked/tooled any number of ways, maybe even miss-floated.

Doh!

To much infomation, but that's old now.

the new 'toolers' MUST be in the industry if you knew what they are doing now,
old tech stuff might have been easy, strimming, sparking, pluging, drilling & shorting, match sticks on solenoids etc..
but to intercept serially encrypted communications takes some brains, admirable in a way but it would piss me off too if they just done my piggy bank's
