I wouldn't mind if they were having a drink each, but there is a crew of between 3 and 5 people operating in Canary Wharf at the moment, and they literally buy one drink between them. Some landlords have now sussed this and refuse them in the pub. The culprits normally make some comment along the lines of that it's out of order, to which the manger/bar staff will inform them that they don't have to let anybody on the premise if they don't want to.
I'm currently E14 based and its not exactly a slotting paradise- in fact seems to be almost exclusively CYBTB clones and other Noel type offerings. Saw a winstopper last night in a place which from the outside wouldnt have expected to have a fruit but as I am not a player couldnt tell you which version other than not P1. I am sure the chavs referred to would stick out like a sore thumb in there and christ even the price of one drink would be beyond them - bought two mandarin sambucas (single measures) last night off one of those lasses with the holsters- £14 WTF was still raging about it this morning

Some guy was playing ant and decs midnight take away, im not sure how much he put into it, but i was playing the machine across from him for about half an hour and i was up money belive it or not... i then took a look round and herd somthing from his machine, it was a flashin board so he must have put alot into it, but he collected somthing daft, i think it was £10 off the super feature, i am not to sure how much exactly it was and i sat and watched him collect it out and put it back in.. it gave him alot of boards but he walked away empty handed by this time i was down a bit of money on legal tender, and i left a few quid in it to go and play ant and dec i put in about 7-8quid and made 70 odd... i was well chuffed. and then i hit the ' one more pound ' i put another 5fer in without a sniff, if i did not have credits in legall tender i would have probley end up playing it more...

Or you've had a couple of set-ups and left it and some lucky **** gets the repeat pot after £2 in! :x

I don't mind that if it's a regular muntling. If regular muntlings never won anything, they'd never return all apart from the very thick ones.

What would annoy me is that I've totally murdered a game, but know there's a big bloopa in there. I'd run a few notes through and because it pays out bars*2 and loads of other stuff, it empties. I ask for a full refill, take out a couple of fivers and a trick and wait for the chink in my armour to appear.

Ho hum, lectures finished then. Here he is.

Annoyance #1.

He goes on the 'murdered' game, gets an £85 repeat pot from £5 in and tries a couple of look ins, nowt so leaves. Here someone who knows exactly what they are doing has won. It's basically money lost from my wallet. Bad situation. Unlucky call, how could I play on? These things happen, but gutted nonetheless.
Say however the resident pumper who has pumped up for many games with value from the bat before, jumps on, blags the £85 for a fiver *I DO NOT BEGRUDGE THAT ONE SINGLE LITTLE BIT*

Annoyance #2

The chink appears and mysteriously skirts around game no#1, despite the fact it is the only one with a light on it. He knows not of my existence and I had my eye on the door and know he hadn't seen the flava. It's like a spooky sicth sense. He goes on pinky rectangle no.2 and it starts offerring after about £40 in, he canes it, has the most amazing run down and then leaves.

They are very often still holding if the player takes the nudge in too soon.

Der was Dish Guy, wanted a pound... Wanted a pound.... So I kept giving him a pound.... and Then, I didn't have any pounds left either... So he had to leave it...

£1 in and £105 Top

Then a fight broke out. Rolling around on the floor when quite suddenly I Bashed his head on the ground which made him temporarily unconscious. So I dug into his pockets and he had £105 in notes! so I put a pound into his pockets and got another £105 hitting a top from 'Super Knockouts' ..

So Overall I walked away with over £200 profit at the expense of just a few pounds.

Genius :D

On the other hand, I do get quite annoyed in this situation, which has happened oh so many times to me:

Set of GGs, you go on #1, It's a bit shit, 60 in and still no LES.

Someone goes on #2, gets a nudge in, goes flat. Value gone. Cheers.
SOOOOOOOOOO many times! Although today, miracle of all miracles, played a £25 monopoly full £10 in (£10 of £5 wins) and a flash for £90, I can't say how many thousands I've played before finally getting a really cheap cycle like this!!!

I'm talking about GGG 92%. I've seen it scores of times, but thanks for the healthy debate.

Never been fortunate enough to stay at the Nudge Inn, but I'm sure it's very nice.

all that aside, our survey said 90 percent of people who voted like to see other people lose,it does f##k you off a bit when you got something lined up and a punter spawns a result on it, must admit i've made my own lip bleed before more than once, waiting time for something ,only to see it make someone elses day :x
