machines with cashpots ie cnr gold and dond

Post by deano206 »

as anyone else won the cashpot £250 and noticed when its paid out the cashpot and reserve still say £250-£250 ,surely that cant be right . the one in rileys near me paid me out and went straight back as though no one had won the cashpot, then these other lads came in thought they where onto a winner and put a lot of money in it .when i won before on a cnr the reserve transfered into the cashpot and reserve went to zero . i think they do this so people will play thinking they will win £250 quid wen someone else has just won it and it doesnt show , what a dirty trick .would be interested if anyone else has noticed this and who to complain too

Yes, I've noticed it too.

Who to complain to? Hmmmm....

i have heard the machine companies do it without the owner/managers consent sometimes or the owner/managers have asked for it to be done like this so people will play , i suppose i should ask the owner/manager if they know and will inform a few people in the snooker club theres agood chance they are going to lose there money you never know they may put it back on a progressive pot if a number of members complain , i will post the results lol

Full cashpots wouldn't make me play out for the JP anyway, we have a Club Casino crazy in the local snooker hall and the pots have been full for years, it's paid 100's of JP's but all have been won from the cash or winspins stacks which don't affect the pots.

I do see where you're coming from though, if the pots are won then they should be reset to £0.

thats not a bad machine mate the top features are worth taking, but ive learnt now not to play a cnr or dond, bully for you , trickshot ,snakes and ladders in any club or snooker hall if both the cahpots are on £250-£250 because there no way of telling if someone has just won he big un as i like to go all out for the jp , if the cashpots were not fixed i dont mind putting in a few quid for the hell of it but knowing that i didnt have a chance to win the biggie . most older people remember when the cashpots wernt fixed so when the machine cashpots were high you knew there was a slight chance of winning big but not now , the companies know the smaller the cashpots are the slower they get paid , thats why they boost them

Old versions used to reset the pots when they emptied, and you can choose the settings i think. Nearly all now will always stay at £250, which i agree is a joke. Much more fair in the old days when you'd see the reserve build as you put money in.
