Cheeky Barstards

This just occurred to me when I was playing the Elvis King of Clubs 250 quid machine on a ferry the other day (this is a machine where you hi-lo with playing cards. It has a clone but its name escapes me).

Anyway, a rarity for any machine these days - it loves to throw in 40p wins ALL the time. Even 2 cherries nets a meagre 80p win.

However, unlike a lot of 5 quid machines, there is no rounding up of prizes. If you collect 40p then 40p you will collect.

Except you can't collect anything less than a pound - all you can do is transfer it back to credit, meaning that you'll usually be left with an odd amount of money.

So to sum up. Barcrest have made a machine which offers prizes which you can't collect. Well done chaps.

Not quite.

I tried to force it once and got my fingers burnt - despite it being full and offering £50 from the off.

Given that it was on a ferry, it's a dangerous business trying to force machines without access to a cash machine and less than 2 hours to force it out. This process would be a lot quicker if it didn't insist on foisting pointless wins on you, much like with S16 games.

What possible purpose do these crappy wins serve?

Crests are the easiest clubbers to force, but so hard to find ready. It's usually £300-£400 in for pot....great :x

you've got that right!!! This is certainly the case on cash beast/dracula etc. these days, unless you know for sure it hasn't paid jp for ages, it just aint worth it

king of clubs however I've played out a few times, generally for £100-150 profit, although one did cost £320 for £250. I wouldn't advise playing anything out on a ferry though, its most probably forced alot by ferry pro's, and then refilled - so it won't be worth you forcing it.
