Rameses Riches

Post by rocket »

Was working in a club last night where they had this on 10p play / £100 JP. I'd put about 8 quid in I think and got only my second board. Stacked a few features and cash up, then got an extra life. Then three consecutive spins went:

- Extra life
- Third pyramid to open the top feature board
- Straight into the top board!

The features stacked up really quickly until I was offered the top feature - Rameses Riches, described as 'A series of criss cross reel wins'.

Shaking like a shitting dog, I took it, and the very first spin - JP! Get in!!! The only thing is that as I'm sure you know, they can be funny in social clubs about non members playing the machines, and even more awkward if people should dare to win on them!! And the machine was situated right next to the open door of the managers office with about three club officials in!

I tried to take out a few quid at a time, but the stupid thing just dumped out 100 coins all in one go!! They did come out to take a quick peek at what was going on, but I just avoided making eye contact and scarpered!

A great result - the only problem being that I had lost nearly 15 quid earlier in Money Spider, I had put 8 quid in to get the JP, I probably put another 10 - 15 back in later on (mainly because I was bored), and then I had to buy everyone a round of drinks because I won! But oh well - you can't beat dropping that sum of money off a few quid! 8)

Nice one mate!

However, I wonder whether you could take legal action against the manufacturer for not being awarded the advertised prize. One spin with a Jackpot awarded is clearly not a 'series of criss cross reel wins'. You should've had some more afterwards. Take the buggers to court!

This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

Aye, sue the feckers!

Just realised actually why I got that feature so quickly - it wasnt that the feature stack built up - I lit all three pyramids again which awards it! And I managed that in no more than 4 or 5 spins - the JP just came out of nowhere!

nice one. you didnt get the £100, then run out of credits collected then came back and put your £15 in later. Someone might of picked up the over half of your top otherwise? Did you check that it had actually finished, just thinking with the 'series of wins' that maybe it was carrying on.

I think I tried about another 6 or 7 quid through it straight after and it seemed dead. Partly just to check there were no afters and also because it was in a club and some of the staff and regulars were hawking around after they heard a bit of money being dropped - you know how awkward they can be about 'non-members' playing the machines - and god forbid they should win on them! So once all the money was in my pocket I kinda made out that although I'd dropped a few quid I'd put more than that in and the thing was robbing me.

haha i know! I was hoping it might pay out a few at a time so i could pocket them bit by bit - the machine was right next to the wide open door of the club secretary / stewards / officials etc. The minute I pressed collect all 100 coins started firing out and clanging against the (yes, metal!) payout tray :o ops:
