without a doubt psycho cash beast is the best barcrest of all time.
followed by jackpoteers (ive still got an early version 25er! in a local arcade! how cool is that!!!)
followed by spiker the biker
then probably king kebab/austin powers, temple is ok but not the best
monty python hmmm, this and neptunes and the likes were ok but again not the best
ready to rock.. hehe, does anyone know how to do these???? they were fun
money mad martians was ok, i havent seen one for about 3 or 4 years tho! £10 from melons anyone!!!
then we have hi flyer top dog and hot rocks, these were good to flash and get a quick 75 from, but you had to time them right or you'd get f'd in the a.
gimmie gimmie gimmie and clones, rumors of cheats never really saw one roll apart from the very first cash bang wollop i ever played did top streak off about £10 and went for about 60.. metalzone horn of plenty and the rest were very very lame re-glasses that i hate and never bother playing
dosh balls were ok, but everyone in the woorld caught on too soon
dont think too much of the top gear etc, seemed a bit past it
revolution and golden dragon were being "done" when they came out so they were a bit annoying
super charged, WHHHHHHHOOOOOOOO!
red blue red blue red blue red blue stop!
lol, "hey mate, youve had the top 4 times already! how come youre winning so much?"
someone actually came up, tapped me on the back, and said "theres only one winner on them things mate" while i was 'playing' a supercharged.. hmm?
the red/blue series of machine were quite harsh in the beginning, hot stuff and hellraiser good profitable machines but they loved the 7 7 10 7 7 10 too much, but they went good around allfiredup, with vamp it up the whole pick a reel part made them unpredictable so i lost interest in the do-able ones quite early
throw a wobbler is ok, but i see many many clones of this coming our way each one getting tighter and tighter until its unplayable like a battle axe style suck (no boards offered then jackpot from a low feature then repeat cycle)
barcrest have had a lot of fun machines to play,
anyone remember hi lo sumo? how good was that when they were in the pubs, ive got a feeling they all got took out because of "severe percentage manipulation" lol, oh well
snakes and ladders theme..., what was the latest version of this called? that could be nice, it could get up to the top 2 or 3 times in a row a couple of times a month! no streaks on it though and the pot hardly ever repeated, so was pretty flat profile
new lucky strike, what the fuck was all that about eh! barcrest???
phil the power and TAW are good machines, but the ones "back in the day" around 98 99 were a whole lot better...
cash attack, pot black, jolly gems, top tenner, brainwaves, buccaneer, lotta luck, squids in, lucky strike not the old oldies but the very late 90's seemed to be a very good time to play barcrests, if you had a route of them you didnt need cheats or whatever, just about £25 in £1's id only just started back then, but armed with vic greene and a refill key, i was invincible!....

i think TAW is probably the best crest out atm. Found one in a small quite country pub yesterday and got JP off nearest win for four pounds in. the next board folllowed with a flash which i got red series for 35! Not that bad really!
Other than that i also like'all fired up' 'hot stuff' and hellraiser! all the red and blue trail boards!!!
