SuperTip
Use nudges to bring in the Barcrest Games logo, and then collect the Reel Magic feature, this will then give you the opportunity to win Jackpot easily. Simply, use the flashing disco button to slow down the feature and
stop the light on the logo! Nudges + Reel Magic = BIG MONEY!

What a great tip!

Guaranteed this won't play like the original.

Not that I rated the original as highly as they do on the PH website ( ), I can't see this being, as you say, anything like the original.

Blocks, deaths on 2's and 11's, £10+ for a board. If I'm proved wrong, I'll be very surprised!

Cynical mode: off!

You'd be surprised at the board costs Matt - it's not bad at all. On 50p/spin the 4-bonus helps you out quite often. Obviously when someone's just raped it, the board costs get higher, and you don't get much help from the crystal ball, but in general play it's fairly reasonable.

When you consider what a terrible job Barcrest did of resurrecting Take Your Pick (renaming it Open The Box), PCB2 really is a proper clone of PCB with the addition of the dual stake and hi/lo.

I personally want it to pass test as I thought it was pretty decent.

Is it the kind of fruit that you would walk into a pub for if that was the only one in there?

Played this yesterday in a pub briefly (was so happy to finally get a chance). I was with friends so couldnt spend long on it in case I God-forbid was labelled antisocial (ladies crying "stop gambling! ) :x

Really, really enjoyable gameplay. I don;t often say this, but Barcrest have done brilliantly in ressurecting this one. Obviously this is just a first impression as i wasnt able fully to investigate its potential or profile, but for the first time in a while:

I REALLY ENJOYED PLAYING A FRUIT MACHINE! THERE! I SAID IT! WELL DONE BARCREST, YOU ARE GETTING CLOSER TO GAINING SOME RESPECT!

I have played this briefly and thought it was pretty much ok.

Just wandered as never played the original, why everyone is raving about it ? What was so good about the original ?

My biggest earners PCB/Frenzy/Big Brother where. £15 JP usually cost around £10 - £15 for it to go and Usually always did £45. Sometimes only
£30 but sometimes £60. Best thing back then was that they'd streak 2 or 3 times a week in the right pubs. Had a BB in my local for nearly 6 months which I made a mint from.

Begs the question Gambo, from another thread I know, but would you like to go back to that era or stay as we are?

I was more of a £25jp fan personally, but each to their own eh. :D

Defo a £15 fan. Far too many flat JP's on most £25's that I played. So much so that I stopped playing for about a year (apart from the odd pissed up force  )
Historically machines I remember streaking where
PCB/F/BB
Magic Carpet/AN/NT/SYM
Simpsons/IJ/GE

Efforts to upgrade these to £25 where poor.
BB on £25 wasn't much cop. 2 jp's if you where lucky.
Mario Kart was a £25 clone of IJ and that was poor.

Only £25's I can remember being consistent are :
Full moon fever
Pie factory
Raise the roof
Duff beer guide
Hot stuff & clones.

Never did well off DNA but did alright off Nitro.
