LS - Tell if it's unchipped?

Post by rocket »

Ow do all,

Just wondering if theres any way to tell if a lucky strike is unchipped without playing it - anything different on the alpha in attract mode or anything? I will be able to play it but it's in the pub where I work, and I'm straight on a shift when I go in tonight (and can't play during my shift) so just thought I could have a look at it from behind the bar.

I know the chances of it being unchipped are pretty much zero, but I just thought it'd be worth a try - we get machines from a very small company, that are usually donkeys years old (last 2 machines have been Voodoo cash blast and King Kong Kash!) so I thought there may be a small chance.

I came across 1 in a right old mans pub 6 - 8 months ago. Alas it was chipped :( . It'll only cost you a few quid after work to find out if it is or not.

Yeah i don't think there is any initial way of telling if its good or not for hot shot without playing it. Like mentioned just get a board and set your nearest win up for 3 quid or above and it should gamble up to it. Saying that if it offers 5 nudges any ways you should be good for the force any ways even if its not good.

I had 2 LS in London Boro about 8 months ago for about 3 months. 1 was a 125 the other was a 250 hopper. Had to buy food in there which to be fair was skank but we had to keep it sweet so i hate it all Lol.

Just try it bud.

Nipped in earlier to try it, but someone was playing it and I'd already had a pint and half (was driving), so I couldnt be arsed to hang around without being able to have a beer.

We shall see later though..

Alas no luck :(

(Just to check I'm right with it - I got Hot Shot on the feature stack, and took a couple more spins until it spun in a two. Then took Hot Shot, and went lower than the 2?...)
