The only machines that cost £10+ for a board these days are DOND's & Carribean Cash.
The old £25ers might of been bad for £10+ for boards but the £35 breed have never been that bad for me.
SMTM & Snakez can take the piss with red boards but I have never been done by a redding Vortex.
Several months ago Reds seemed to be everywhere & people where making a mint off them without the need for any cheats whatsoever, so does that make us all clowns?

Indeed, you've got issues if you think LAB is a bad machine. Most people on here would have it as one of their faves. The only one in that list that annoys me at times is Sub Zero, all the others are mint!

£23 for a board on SMTM. goin red first board also landed on 3red features took over 150 for a top... and these machines are good?? there fuckin crust! to tell you the truth iv never won on 1. never cost less that 100 for a top and thev all been goin red! people like you win on em all the time and you play them the same as me! and i get rippd on them evry time

Yeah they can be very harsh. We've all done that mate....i've done £200+ twice in SMTM, and £300 in a snakez before it rolled. Sick really, but these thigns happen. Older reds generally never take anywhere near that much.

Where you playing them? I don't bother with reds in arcades but in pubs they're Awesome.
As said SMTM is a rogue and i've been over £100 into then several times, My worst was £300 into a £25 Fun Nudgin Criminal. But most other reds I'd say average out at around £40 in for £70+.
Recently had £2 in for a £70 & £16 in for £105 both on Invincibles.

I punt in arcades but i wudnt play reds in arcades no way! SMTM was in a pub in manchester! i cant get on any reds down here there all coverd..

I don't know about elsewhere but every Red I've seen in an arcade my way has been on 70% and sometimes with no +6% so that puts me off them straight away.
