Oh dear. Heard about this and was quite excited a new darts had come along.....but it appears yet again barcrest have lost the plot with forces costing 4-7 x JP value. Unheard of it the old £25 days if you took one on when appearing ready.

WILL YOU LISTEN BARCREST! GET BACK TO BASICS AND MAKE US THE QUALITY MACHINES YOU USED TO MAKE BEFORE THESE LAST FEW RELEASES WHCIH ARE A CROCK OF SHITE! :x

So, tell us a bit about this monstrosity!

Is it anything like a YDD/LS/PTPT clone? Or is the concept different ..

Similar to a YDD, except there are 3 hi los - the left is for cash, the right for features and the centre for shots and nudges - where a correct "hi" gamble gives shots on the dartboard, and a lo gives nudges. Playing 50p makes all amounts double from the off, plus then you can have effectively x4 for "play for doubles" on the trail and x6 for "play for trebles and bull".

Had a dabble in Spoons and don't like it - far too predictable when you know it's going to job you over on a "hi" gamble for shots!

Sounds like quite a unique style. As long as the the profile is nothing like open the box then its an improvement.

Surely this could be a wise move from the Barcrest chaps. Sure, it'll piss off a few players who do their nuts forcing it for a top, but that means it'll be rich pickings for the average Joe Punter who flings a couple of nuggets in.

Is there any features on this where nudges come in handy for reel set-ups?

christ, this machine. This fucking machine. i think this may be the worst hi-tech ever produced by a reputable company. seriously.

avoid it like the plague, run into pubs where you see it and force the munter regulars at gunpoint not to play it, just to add to the chance that it dose not get a general release.

Ill give it two months till everyones perception of this changes.

It isnt that bad.Its just really poor from factory reset. Most Crests are.

It needs a few bob through it before the profile settles down.

There are back to back jp's to be had when buzzed up.No bull.
