Saw this yesterday, seems like a clone of Show Me the Mummy, but definitely Barcrest. Did OK off it.

Oh come on, how hard is it to come up with a new name? I mean at least use a name thats over 5 years old or something. Jesus christ times can't be that hard they cant spare 5 minutes of their time brainstorming over a "gold mine related name"

its failed test already.

I now have one of these too; it was showing 'Call Attendant, IOU £28' when I wandered over to it.

It could not be more identical to SMTM, the only difference being the Barcrest logo at the top instead of the Red logo.

As you say Dunham, it's not exactly original!

It has a Notey, so I presume not. The Vortex next to it seemed to be playing really well yet was £168 away when I keyed it.

I will go back and try and play the thing in a few days.

I've been keeping an eye on this machine all week and it seems I'm up against a Chinese bloke who collared me while I was playing it in midweek. I played dumb and he proceeded to give me a detailed explanation of every feature on the machine ... so clearly he's got dibs on it day-by-day as it's the only one of these in the area.

On Friday it was £187 off and didn't give me a single board for my £9 investment. I walked away. Quickly.

The only difference between this and SMTM is that Gold Strike has a £35 value on the safe cash board, whereas SMTM only goes up to £25. It's also a bit of a distraction playing a Red-style game with Barcrest-style fruits and artwork on the reels.

Should have carried on
To put £60 in a m/c just to leave it is pure madness
Even if dead you would be unlucky after a JP/top to be £60 down
Dropping means nothing
Refilled maybe or just playing up
Either way got to keep going

Ahh i see ok then unlucky but with only 60 on you i would say you should just play a few guid in these and try and nick a few pound as they can be very harsh on board costs Once you go 40 plus in one you may as well go for top if you had the funds

Forced one of these today.. And by god did it take the piss!!! Put 140 in it when it was red from the off, it done a 35. That 35 back and it done a 105 and then luckily i banged in a stop n step for 25. It just seemed it was taking the piss from the off and was a waste of time. I hope other new barcrest releases aren't this poor.

I agree toothless they take the piss
Having said that they seem to give profit at the end
Although it takes ages and you think you will be down

I have played a few red from the off
they always seem to cost a lot then go mad

Cost £120 for top and it did £35,£70,£70 (split with only a few pound in between tops) to give about £40 profit
CCP the best red would just have cost £30 and done £70 or along those lines
These really do make you work
Had another that did similar to what you had too
Not a great offering it has to be said
