Fruit Machine Chat

Hi Everybody
I have just bought a Barcrest Each way Nudges machine, It works fine on free play however when i set it to cash play, i get the 'hey check it out' sound and the error ALARM 17-83 PND OPTO BLOCKED AT START

Im at a loss as i dont know a thing about fruit machines, so any help would be most grateful

Had it as a msg tone and a guy from LL heard it, called me a saddo

just a guess, but has the coin mech been disabled?

There is a plastic 4 pin connector loose, looks like it should go somewhere but cant seem to find where. Any idea's where it should be connected

Could be a couple of faults, a coin jamming the exit chute of the hopper,the hopper optos could be blocked by dirt or just unplugged as you say got 4 pin connector loose,have you bought the machine off ebay?if so the hopper will most probably been unplugged,so there will be connector in the machine to plug it back in.
