Cash Attack

Well, it seems that 'Crest are continuing their quest to re-release their back catalogue, with this piece of dross.
They've saved a lot on the sound effects department, by completely ripping the identical sound set from the original machine, so expect to hear 'The boy's clever, the boy's good!' if this appears in your local.
Has anyone had a go at this one yet then? I stuck a tenner in it last night, and got 1 board during that time (on 50p play) and was offered the princely sum of £6, which I took. It was backing onto cash, so a chum then stuck a twenty into the notey and manged a few boards, the best of which offered £7 before losing on a 2! He left it £20 down.
Really does not seem like a good machine at all. I'm also 99% sure that they've adjusted the layout of the nudges on the reels so as you can't reel in pot like you could on the original.
I've a feeling this may fall into the same category of shiteness as OYB, so my advice: Best left well alone!

so this is the 3rd time they have bought this one out then, the original one was a good empty if it did take a fair while.

Yep, it plays exactly like the original!

It's not like that second Cash Attack that was similar to Supercharged. The only differences from the original is that there are now two numbers to hi/lo on, you probably can't get JP off of the 'Reel Skill' feature (not even sure if it's there) and the board is different.

yeah just staying on the middle reel till you had enough nudges for jp, heard of the other way when it was too late. same with up up and away.

Was the easier way not to get the feature that spun the number reel between 1-12, and gave you the 60p for 1 and the £6 for 12?
However, if you managed to stop it on the 1 or 2, you would only get a £1 win so it would give you a bonus repeat. Repeat till empty!
(remember trying this and it being very difficult to do!)

Saw 1 of these last night. Didn't play on it as the notey was off and I was out having a meal with the family. It's got a massive feature board by the looks of it.

Read the revelations on Players Heaven, this is getting general release on 1st October, plus in another reply they say it's a completely new idea, not based on anything!

If they are saying that then they're clearly deluded lol!
Expect to see more rehashes in the future, methinks!
