erm just thought i'd start a thread about this beast as i'm sure we will all be seeing one sooner or later....just landed a brand spanker replacing my rovers return....what stake ya playin at fellas.....what hits we look at for forcing tackle...basically this is a curious thing...dont personally play red gamings....it has elements of that.....dont play DOND...bit of that too.....but i do play CADD....sum feature simularities.....lets get BRAINSTORMING!!

p.s had a bash on this today.....lost my key hence no float info...bout 6pd in on the basic 30p play (haven't tryed the super or mega games yet) i gets a bonus....hit super boost...goes all the way to 99 nudges....as this fukka has no 35jp fruit win i exchanges for the 10pd win....on a 3 i thinks hey lets go for it....3 to a 10.....15pd....lower that a 10...11....cpl spins later i get another bonus.....sum sort of skill shot....hits 3 nudges...exchanges for a mixed bar win.....took a shot on the feature board..hits an open the box symbol...proceeds to open the box pyramid...it takes a few boxes away....gives me a deal or no deal option..i deal.....got 15pd in the mystery box....bout 4-5pd later....get another board...basically hit a feature named BAR SERIES on normal....goes for 10pd....left it after that.....THE END......!!!

Had a terrible experience on this, so bad that I will be leaving it alone from now on.

Played it because it replaced one of my on a rolls and it was a new Barcrest, something I have eagerly anticipated. I was buoyed by an early button basher and some high cash wins. Playing on 50p mega spins X4 it quickly ate the 40 pound coins I had, I then preceded to "note it up" 7x£10 and 2x£20.

Getting very pissed off, particularly as this old sailor type was sat close by giving it the old " the only winner in this game is the guy who owns the machine", it eventually does a flat 35. Then a "red" type sequence ensued, dieing first number for a while (should have stopped, but I was locked in) put 100 more in notes for another 35 which repeated for 70. tried another board and it was killing first gamble again, tried about 10 and walked.

When I got home I couldn't sleep as it was all ticking over in my head. This is my biggest loss since I became "in the know" and probably close to my biggest of all time on fruits (don't play s16).

The most alarming thing it that the whole operation took less than half an hour. It was eating faster that a red and at least with reds I am pretty sure the profit will be there, so tend not to be bothered by £10 worth of credits disappearing in 15 seconds. Times have changed since the tuppenny nudger, £190 down on a fruit machine in 30 min.

Calmed down a bit now, with the realisation that there's always a blip, and it can be more than offset against other consistent gains.

The machine seems more like a evil maygay/ red. Think I agree with mattb that Barcrets are going down the pan. Lately it's all been about reds for me.

played this myself seems a bit random, don't like it, and the board costs are horrendoes I might add, it seems like it doesnt give u a win from the nudges unless there is one there naturally without gambling, or else it gives true skill gamble...

much better stuff out there than this...

A shocking m/c
I played one full and offering good stuff from the off
£110 for the top from a crest felt like i had been mugged
There seemed to be no progression at all in fact it went £15 with no board then offers 6 nudges for a £1 dead second gamble
Managed a £70 from it and it was well and truly dead after

Horrible looking and horrible to play
I would rather have forced the BTQ next to it

there is no people at barcrest who makes AWPs anymore.

only ones left are export ppl and they know shit!

Was a good ride while it lasted. dont expect any more decent crests these days

I'm gald other people are with me on this one.

I know exactly what MrRed is on about, having forced the one here 3 times and it costing £100+ every single time. You can't even risk having a quick board on it either, as these often cost £10 odd and are shite. For that reason, i don't even play it any more.

A very sad day when a barcrest is too bad and risky to be worth playing :x :(

Perhaps Barcrest are aware that loads of people just force out the majority of there machines and have thought sod it lets just screw the players....................Just a thought ! !

Perhaps. Although it wouldn't be the best "long run" strategy for a business. Not sure how these can behave so badly as they have to correct to percentage eventually. It played like a red but with no end streak.

Everyone can get stung on these, pub players will undoubtedly be stung for £10 a board, first gamble dead scenario.

another one of their new machines, however, fill ya fruits, is the opposite, it's very progressive...

however, thanks to the weak affiliation to that game we all so adore DOND, I'm sure we'll see bucket loads of these open your boxes, despite it being rubbish...! I dont understand why people love DOND so much, watched the program once, was boring!

well this sum serious shit....cant say i been stung yet..max force so far been around 60bar max......had a few 10bar+ for a board hence this is fukked up for a crest...only had 3 force sessions so far...all been profitable....but sum of these posts scare the s@*t outta me....nuthin worse than an old games media type force....really hurts ya float...as said b4 i never used any of the 50p stakes...just the standard game...not sure i kan even put forward any force signs...maybe hittin open the box suffices but unsure...red BB, MM, crazy reels, bar series seems applicable...will update as n when

peace!!

These are very very poor for a barcrest release. They cost for boards...offer shite numbers, kill you on decent numbers and take an age for a top. Just generally a very poor m/c.

Don't really think you can compair these to reds, yes reds have there dead spells every now and again but at least you get a decent streak at the end. OTB just seems to block forever and you end up breaking even if your lucky.
