My village pub local is getting a new one today after a month of the utter, utter crap that was Abracadabra (I can't tell you how much I hate this machine).... he swears the new one is a brand new barcrest that gets released today calling Hissing <something>... I'm just praying it's not the QPS effort..

Abracadabra wasn't that bad of a machine. Knock back the SSS. Usual method really. Wasn't brilliant but wasn't shit.

That hissing something does sound like the QPS effort which is a piece of shit as well. If it is that one then you would of been better off with the abracadabra!!!

Hmm, i was going to say Hissing Quid too, which isn't a great machine. Abracadbra isn't too bad, and these are probably the easiest machine in the past couple of years to tell if its ready or not.

Abra was so predictable and a real ball ache to get a top. Never got it to go above a flat 30 then die on it's arse. Never did see the point in knocking back the SSS though, mind you i'd stop it on a tenner and go in through the feature.

Maybe I played it wrong but I still hate this piece of shit.

*edit* Abra is a QPS right?.. just checking in case it's been rebadged.

In order to guarantee the SSS coming back you must knock it back, then take your first Mega Streak through an invincible board, (light the shots symbols twice), then it will always come back.

surely abra and the reptile are the same m/c anyway? I played a HQ just the other night, couple of quid in and offered 5 supershots/strikes straight away.£12, not bad.

abra and HQ are roughly the same and i liked them both, i've known hissing quids to do 3 £100 rolls in 30 days leaving it 10 days in between [knocking back sss], it was in a busy spoons so perhaps thats why it was so good for me.

i've always liked the KB way but most people don't get on with it. maybe its because of experiences like above? each too there own

Abra was still there when I went today and it had had a bit through so I had a bash...

Got the SSS about 3 times and killed it instantly, had about 7 boards before I turned it IM and took MS. Then it wouldn't give a bonus for love nor money, it kept entering the feature via numbers... when it did finally give a bonus it was not SSS. I tried a couple more bonus's to make sure, but SSS wasn't there...

I did however collect a couple of wins, maybe that made a difference.. I dunno. Either way I wasn't down, but I wasn't up either.

I think you have to refuse to take a board at all costs, play for the bonus. I dont know what reel the 4 is on but you need to get the bonus, if you get on by fruits, or it rolling in 3 in a row your fucked from what ive been told. What milk is saying is not true though, its not guaranteed whatsoever.

yes, refuse all boards and play for the bonus, if it does drop in a win it does'nt mean the SSS aint there, just sack any boards off and continue too play for a bonus, if it does land a board you can play it as normal if you like but just don't collect anything, if the SSS is there it will offer things like 4 KO's and super streak which is an indication that it IS there,
