I don't believe there have been any MTRs or rips out for this, it possibly could have had a massive streak forced out of it.

Sorry to bring this up again.
There were two different program versions for Megazone.
One version would put you straight on to the feature following a fruit win, whilst the other version would require you to gamble to an exchange point following a win.
Lower features are pretty poor on this, Greed in particular tends to boot you off after £2.50, Pick a Reel seems to only be offered when the entire reel window is filled with cherries. For the less-experienced players, Cash Climb is a good one to take, usually at least £3, but more often £5, though it does give £10 occasionally (this feature is JP capable). '7 and 7 is?' is at least £3, but also can give £5 or £10. Pay Rise and Fast Cash (actually a money belt feature) are pretty poor on this machine.
I don't know why there was a revision for this, as I don't believe there were any MTR's, rips or any other exploit for this machine.

Newcomers to this site should note that Megazone is consistently named as one of the most hated, boring machines ever made.

£227 down, If Genesis2 cab, probably small firm with no security features, ie. metal plates.

Cosmic Casino - blimey that was a tedious machine - although funnily, I used to always do pretty well out of it. Let 'em spins on £3 usually meant JP was obtainable from two more gambles.
Played it more recently on the emu and the top feature so often goes for a lot less than JP.
Megazone - More like CheddarBone, because I'm sure you can get something from your GP to get rid of that disease...

Can megazone be tooled though. Haven't seen one in ages so i can't remember if they have a bubble shell or the old cabinet style, I.e SRM + clones.
If it is one of the older cabinets then like Anfield said it was prob tooled as there is nothing out on this.

First off - Hi im new to the site... Im only 18 but i love the old fruit machines. Ive had a bit of experience with MEGAZONE because it was in my local before it got replaced by the Deal or No Deal Matrix Version.
It really is shite!
I had one good experience on it.... late friday night everyones drunk, i was on my way. I see a guy playing it who seemed to be doing ok, he got himself onto the super feature board in the middle, got himself a 5.50 repeater... then i realized the logo was flashin... he was invinable.. so i told him 2 collect the money, went on after and get £40 off mega streak...
Best way to get cash quick on this is to get "selector" on the bonus and choose the best trail - Gives you : Bonus Start, Super Feature Board Open and a Extra Life, Usually gives £3-£8 in the repeater aswell...

Selector pretty much always enables feature entry, though it only goes up to Extra Life very occasionally. As said elsewhere in the forum, if it's offering £5 repeater starts consistently, it's not far off a jackpot or MS. This isn't the best Barcrest ever made, but it can be good for quick steals for beer money (£1 in £5 out sort of thing).
