Barcrest Take it or leave it software

Hi everyone,
Newbie to the forum and i have a take it or leave it machine and the battery went and it came up low battery so i changed the battery and then it just wouldn't work a friend of mine gave me the software on a memory stick and told me to put it in the machine and enter when it tells me to install. I doesn't come up as install so i searched through and found bootstrap and it allowed me to install from there but it came up invalid o/s and then it just goes into self test. When i enter it goes through the test and most come up as fail then goes to cycle power and stays there and wont let me do anything would anyone be able to help me or guide me in the right direction please ?
