Hi,

I have a Barcrest Star Wars A New Hope machine which I bought late last year which has been working fine since.

Unfortunately when I turned it on this morning the alarm sounded with the message. Alarm 52-36, No Characteriser, No ID Chip.

As far as I know it was working perfectly last time it was played and will not have been tampered with - only I have the keys to open it.

I'm a total novice at this and have done some searching on the web to try and and find a solution to the problem but no luck as yet.

If anyone has any advice I'd be really grateful.

Cheers

Jon

Game board has come loose, open it up and make sure its all pushed in ok. check all fuses in power supply and make sure there is no "crimping" of wires near the door inside.
