Hi all, new to this forum.and this is my first post.
I have just got star wars new hope machine with £5 jackpot. Although it accepts all coins it only pays out in pound coins. If you get a 20p 40p 60p or 80p win it upgrades it to a pound, the same happens with other wins it upgrades the win to the next pound. Is there any way to change this so it pays out what you actually win ? it seems it only wants to pay out pound coins.

You could get it converted to tubes which do pay out silver but this could be quite costly i would think, and even then the programme always rounds up to the nearest pound so the answer is no.

Oh ok thanks so whats the point of having 20,40,60,80p wins? I have played this in the arcades and it paid out silver

I guess you'd need a 10p hopper?

It wont alter the pc payout, if its yours what diffrence does it make?
Unless your after you mates pocket money (which is no bad thing), in which case you will need the hopper to keep them interested.

Does anyone know how i can change the percentage payout ?

most machines only pay out in £1 coins nowadays.
as for changing %, have a look at this thread, yours is a barcrest too, so exactly the same method to change %
