You cant kill joe butcher! We would all love to be in his position! First met him about 10 years ago in reading and he was always sound! Didnt see him for ages until i got a phone call from a pub asking if i could pop up at 10:30 as a bloke was doing there alien every week at 11! In walked mr butcher! Cleared it with the staff that he wasnt cheating and all was fine! Wish they had put the CCTV on him though! He gave me a few machines in exchange so couldnt moan!

I know how he got started...the truth...we share the same 'creator' you see...mentor...etc. He went off in his direction, I went off in mine. He regrets not finishing university, he hates the abuse you get in pubs, it really gets to him. I dunno, as much as I think in a way he's a bit of a heartless cunt, I can't bring myself to hate the bloke.

He went to uni with my mentor back in the day, thats how we got intoduced! He does get nervous in pubs! We went in one and the landlady said "Are you here for the machine" so i said yes we are! He looked stunned! She switched it on and we ripped it! I did know her but he still said he would have not played it!

I won't have him being called a cunt, he isn't a cunt. He's what we all should be, obviously to be getting what he's got and the fact that he's still getting it, he's treating someone right. Can we really, honestly say we've been 'screwed over' by Joe? No, I owe the bloke money, I feel a cunt that I do. He's a pro, simple as that - its like calling a pro footballer a cunt because he doesn't play with his old mates in the park on Saturdays anymore.

Let's face it, we're writing all this, there's a mixture of humour, banter and bitterness all mixed up in it. Joe has the occasional punt and can handle it, he has the 1 thing a real pro needs, DISCIPLINE!

The bloke has his head screwed on right, simple as that.
