LOL....ok
i have an up n over barcrest.
I have a problem that it works fine, except none of the bulbs are lit.
Everything else seems ok.
Also when you switch it on and press the start button, it gives u 50 credits, is this normal?
Thanks

well firstly with the bulbs id say just get some new ones as they are most likely just dead..
as for the credit thing maybe you have it on free play?
sure someone will have a better knowledge of the inners of machines to be able to hit your problem on the head.

none of the bulbs work tho?
Is it the same as xmas lights, if one bulb goes it takes out the whole lighting circuit?
Someone suggested it may be a MUX 5 problem?

As far as i know they aren't all connected in an xmas tree style circuit, so i think you might have a major problem. The 50 credits sounds like its on free play. Have you got any keys in the machine?

how do i turn off free play?
I also notice that when i put coins in and i collect, i cant hear the hopper pumping out the coins?
Is that a fault or normal on freeplay?

There could be three ways the free play is activated;
1st- is if the bottom door is not properly shut, there is a little switch that gets pressed when the door is closed which initalizes the machine into normal play.
2nd- if the top door is not shut properly, or if the lock is broken and the part which goes into the lock is broken.
3rd- if the leads which connect to the main part (MPU unit) is not connected properly which means it cannot go into normal play.

I'd go with coaster, cash door's open (or the switch has been taken off so the machine thinks it's open).
That's also why your hoppers appear not to be working, it won't pay out in free play mode

This should be in tech forum, the psu has the amperage of each fuse stamped on top.... Normaly lamp use is 10amp 20mm
