we bought a second hand jolly gems machine but it pays out treble the amount of money people are putting in, does anyone know how to change settings or is there a pdf download i can get we dont have a manual for it.

that shouldnt happen... play it more.. it should stop paying so much after a jackpot and a repeat or two

already tried that!! the machine payed out 3 jackpots on repeat to 1 person the payed out £18 to the next player.
any other suggestions, someone said to take the machine back to factory settings but dont know how too.

are they putting money in to play? sounds like its either in test mode or the payout percentage might be set too high
this is going to be unintentionally patronising but: are all of the doors locked and if you put coins in it accepts them and adds them to credit?

yes they put there money in and it added to the totals, weve switched it off and played it ourselves and its given us free games any idea how to take it off the settings its on. thanks jimmy

Moe, not to sound patronising , but you do understand that some machines are programmed to pay three jackpots. You can't judge machines over such a small sample of plays. Try playing a few hundred quid of plays and note the percentage. If it's still overpaying, then you may have a problem.

this doesn't make any sense whatsoever , ,,,,,,,,,,, if its giving you free games , its on test -end of.

yeah, it sounds like an mpu3 in test.. either way summat aint right..
you need to make sure all of the door switches work...
no keys turned and no internal buttons taped in etc..
photo of internals with the front doors open and the shell off of the circuits...
