Hi,

I have Barcrest Go for Gold (MPU5 i think).

I need to reset the counters to zero/ factory default.

Any ideas please !!!

I am not overly familiar with refill and empty procedures.

What i need to do is empty the contents and then re-set the counter? to zero so i can then put the money back in and the machine knows the true amount etc.

(Also if anybody can explain how the whole money counts work i.e the hopper, the float )

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Have you got a refill key for it?

The procedure to reset the £1 hopper needs a refill key, open the bottom door and switch the refill key, then press the Hopper Dump button in the bottom of the machine, the machine will then drop the balance of the £1 hopper into the cash tray.

Once it's dumped, press the Start button, pay back the coins (and any others you want to add to the hopper) and the machine is ready to go, it know what's in the payout hopper.

If you want to reset the pay in hopper(s), just put in the refill key, open the bottom door and when it is open press "Hopper Reset".

If you want to check the balance in the £1 hopper, open the bottom door then turn the refill key, it will show you the £1 hopper balance in the LED display.
