I'd love to know what these 'codes' are meant to do? I've heard them mentioned several times over the years, and have even been barred for supposedly using them myself, do you walk up to a machine and tap in a sequence on the hold buttons and just watch the money fall out or what? Please enlighten us.

There is no limit to a landlords/barstaffs imagination!!!

They aint using a code, just playing it intelligently.

Sickens me that people think this sort of thing exists. If you have so little faith in the product that Barcrest have provided then you shouldn't have one if your pub.

Is it really soooooo far fetched that some people know how to play machines in a legitimate way? It would appear so

maybe someone should tidy this thread up a bit and write a constructive response? 5 or 6 sarcastic replies to someone asking a reasonable question...

if any one of you goes in this guys bar, you're going to get met by a very suspicious landlord.. then come back on and moan...

I fail to see the sarcasm? He's saying people are putting codes in his machine and as far i can see people are just putting him right, ie no such codes exist, what other way is there of putting it then?

I know 100% there are codes for machines, Iv spoken to a few people who have them but they wont give them out.

What happens like you said you put your money in, in a sequency this gets you into the machines admin mode and by pressing the buttons in a certain sequency you can drop the jackpot. Meaning what ever you do you cant loose on the machine an (engineer told me that)

Ok some of you on here say that they dont exsist. Were do you find out about the knowlegde of playing this machine> there must be a theory to playing it and knowing that the machine will do next... It may seem abit for fectched but its never been done before whats happened to my machine this weekend.
