Insert your quid, press start. A fairy then draws out loads of bingo balls on the top screen, and you press start (or 'dab', as it calls it) and all the numbers that are on your bingo cards get crossed-off.
You have 8 bingo cards: each with progressively more numbers, as the prizes increase in value - as you might expect. 50p/£1/£2/£5/£10/Fairies/Leps/Pots. The Pots bingo card needs you to draw every number on that card - about 20 in total.
Given that the units were so new, the pots were only just above reset levels - the bronze starts at £200, the silver at £400 and the gold pot was on £2073.xx.
I watched someone plow some notes through these things and he did manage to fluke the Leps bingo card - which started the normal Road to Riches feature. The prize levels were the same except for the final two - which were £500 and £1000. It felt a bit more exciting as there's no 3/4 or 5 leprachaun business - with higher or lower expectations - just the feature and a lot of hope. It bummed out on £35, so no change there then!
It may have been interesting to watch, but from an ethical point of view I'm not so sure this is the right sort of thing to find on a high street.

A typical losing quid seemed to last approximately 15 seconds, as you have to press the button to start the fairy going, and then again to cross out the numbers that appear on your cards. If you had a winning card, the start button became a 'claim' button (bingo-stylee) and needed pressing a third time to add the prize into the bank.
I did notice that on the card that awards the Pots, it very often fell only 1 or 2 numbers short - despite needing so many correct numbers to win the prize.
B1s that aren't in proper casinos just ain't right - great for site profits but very irresponsible on the part of the operator.
