you pay £10 at a time for 5 spins at £2 a spin,

i think all spins are doubled... therefore you are just playing 2 x £1 at a time.. although the jackpot isnt doubled...

erm no, as there is a 50p win on the £2 spins, and no 25p win on the £1 stake.

Nice Features

Saw a nice pair of features earlier today! Lots of gold coins and a big win (on some-one else's game). I got some Toadstools up, or were they Magic Mushrooms. Nice bit of graphics too.

Why don't Barcrest put something up on their Website? Rainbow Riches Pots was as close as I can get:

The Rainbow Riches slot machine will be available to play online from 27th August apparently. I found a blog entry here:

Fields of Gold was available in one of my local arcades today, so Ladbrokes exclusivity has come to an end it seems.

(Not that I would recommend anyone play it!)

Exclusivity

So what is the big deal with Exclusivity? If more people have got it, it's more chance to play and more exposure, surely? I suppose Ladbrokes would be pissed to not have the whole cherry?

It would mean paying the owners of the game a premium in order to have that exclusivity for a limited period of time.

So it would make them a few quid off Ladbrokes, get a bit of a following maybe, and in no time at all (well, a month or two?) be generally available in arcades anyway for the masses.

Interesting to see Ladbrokes' posters advertising Fields Of Gold are still saying 'exclusive' though....!

Bookies

Perhaps Laddies has the game and Hills, Corals and the other bookies don't. Suppose they market to their industry. You're right though that the arcades are kind of in the same market place now, especially with slots.
