old skool machines

Post by chrissyboy1 »

i just thought id say that i miss the oldskool barcrests so much, i remember when i used to be able to use my key on a spiker the biker, neptunes treasure etc and so long as it was near full, i was always in profit 90% of the time. Especially if they streaked, which they normally always do. Nowadays i find that its so much harder to make good money on the newer machines. What are your views on this? do you guys prefer the newer machines or the older ones?

Like "Throw a Wobbler?"

One example of a barcrest that still does this.

I know wobblers do flash next board after a J/P or R/S, which i have had myself on a couple of occasions. but i find most of the time you have to fight for your next J/P or R/S, maybe i'm playing over done machines or just plain unlucky. but thats what there like round here.

still a good machine though with a tidy profit available, bring on the clones???

Best run i had on a Wobbler was

SH JP, then a flash for £40, then SH JP, then another SH JP

Had streaks on this for over a ton. They can be hard to push but you must remember if they are willing then you can steal if you use your nugdes etc correctly. Even so, after a streak you tend to only put in a max of 25 for a JP so even then you aint losing. An absolute brilliant m/c! :D
