Mega Deal or No Deal
Mega Deal or No Deal
Good grief! A fresh concept? Saw this today, seems to be a brand new test machine. It's quite odd, has arrows up the machine and it's even more gold than DOND gold lol. Will grab a pic when I'm there tomorrow again. Anyone else seen this yet? No doubt there's a free win or Noels eyes flash red when it's on it's arse.
Seen a glimpse of it - and the DOND game is on a third 'stack' running alongside the feature stack - (roughly level with where Dial-Up Dosh would be). Further up the stack, Super DOND is roughly in line with where Cash Falls would be and Mega DOND is at the top. Presumably you have to land on something on the trail that boosts up the extra stack to DOND level so you can play the game.
Looks like a similar-but-different concept, if that's possible with such an overused license!

OK - what's the score with these?
I sat and watched someone go through what was bordering on torture yesterday: the 25p and 50p stake seem to guzzle credits before giving a board, and more than £160 in notes went through without a phones game. Deal or Bust = Bust every time it was pressed, which must've been 20-odd occasions. Cashpots full on the lower stakes, in the mid-fifties on the pound stake. Machine full. 9pm on a Saturday, busy pub.
Seems like a horribly harsh profile on all stakes, where the cash regularly goes to £10 on the stack, the features up to Win Picker and Dial-Up Dosh, but absolutely no chance of a phones game and - therefore - no chance of a prize >£10 because of the whole DoB situation.
Is there something on these, or are they all as shite as this?
