Bell fruit - Lord of the rings two towers @ fault

Hi i have just brought lord of the rings two towers in hope i could repair it but im struggling to be honest so any help please guys.

On the lcd display im getting a error, it shows '@' symbols on the screen any one know whats wrong?

Sounds like the battery has leaked on the main board.

You'll get a more comprehensive answer from the technical forum, as some of those mad boffins never venture into this area of the board.
