I'm back in Singapore for a week, and thought I would pay the Marina Bay Sands casino a visit. It left a very poor impression that's for sure.

1. Rude staff, impossible to get any service or drinks unless you walk to the tiny bar at the opposite end of the building.
2. Loads of slots (about 2400 !), but just the same tripe repeated ad nauseum. Limited actual selection of games.
3. Crappy buttons on said slots. A bit of maintenance wouldn't go amiss.
4. Far too smoky !
5. Table minimums are steep (£15).
6. You need to show your passport a minimum of 4 times to get in and out.

The shitty Stanley's in London is a better experience than this was.

Isn't it true in that casino that if you're a national. you have to pay 100SGD to just get in?
Think this was to try and deter the people from gambling. Tourists are fine, mind but they will check numerous times.
