Machine changes

Went into a pub today that had a pd its round the corner from the bar. So get a drink walk round and they've changed it for a spank. Just got me thinking has anyone had a machine swap for another playable? Or a payable swapped for something crap seems to be more the norm. Had 2 mists pubs were near enough next to each other and 2 pds now I've only got 1 out the 4 left

Yeah a few years a go had a cluedo replace a monopoly, Had loads of machines swap had a mega that went for a mist. Seen loads of bigger pubs have bankjobs next week they have crown jewels...

Was in a spoons up north a few days ago and gamestec came in and moved a desert to put a dream in its place.

perfect go for a mega that went for a mist that lasted a week that went for bank job

There's a lot of naivety on this thread...probably had a playable swap for a playable a thousand times! Only really amuses me when they get rid of the fruit 'because of me' and it's something the same or even better!

I've got a pub like that, it had a dig it in for just over a week, the next machine which was shit lasted over a year, then when they can't hold on to it any longer they put a perfect in for an almighty 9 days, just bar me!

Had a pie factory swap for a giant gems years ago lol.

When you have a really good route. You know it's only gunna last so long. Iv lost over half my playables in last few months. Trouble is finding the feckers again. Shit things.

The flower pot in bedford had perfect followed by mist then mega.

Had a Perfect go for a Mist then a Mega. Mega was always on decentish pots and had a fair few nice deals off it.
Other machine in there was a Murphy Flicker that went for a Dark Side.

Now the Dark Side has gone for a bloody SFTS and I don't know what the Mega has gone for if it's left, because I aint been in the pub and only the SFTS is seeable from the window.

Back in the day, you would often see a JPM being swapped with another JPM. Red Alert for Casino 5 Liner or Red Arrow for Hi Roller. That thin red cabinet was a good thing to see through the pub window!
