Cross-topic speaking from me.

Lee, did you say the first round was on you on the Xmas meet?
I've got a few dozen stamped Wetherspoons coffee cards as an exchange for a pint of Guinness if you want?

It's mostly chavs that tend to try and brag/showoff about how much they are making/have saved up, and as always with chavs, its a LOAD OF BOLLOX whatever they say...

Getting harder at the moment I'd say, just due to sheer volume of players, I mean u try finding stuff in spoons/foodchains going around here!

I've got about a million put away...on 'good bets', casino 'investments', 'investigations' on whether or not FOTBs are rigged, online 'live dealer blackjack' and the odd online slot.

Unfortunately I think I'm also under investigation as I can't seem to cash any of it out.

Not skint but need a recovery so I'll be lumping on that treble (at least £100).

Oh how I wish I really could go back in time... :o ops:

At the end of the day there are players who are shit hot on the reels, work things out etc.,but they are all always skint due to their gambling/other problem. There are also donk/clown/rats who barely understand the info they are TOLD but still make over a grand a week easily due to sheer effort.

TBH I've gotta say I have more respect for the rat who does well. They are usually better players in the game of life.

You see most players are losers in the G.O.L unfortunatly. I know adult virgins with health problems at young ages, socially inept with no real friends, only other players to speak to. Very sad people.

In fact this will probably offend some people on here but if I was to stereotype a pro fruit player I'd profile them as over/underweight and unhealthy with pending health problems, little or no social life/friends outside the other players they know, unconfident with women so had little or no serious relationships/sex and usually scruffy looking, taking little care of their appearance and living well below their means in cheap clothes and shit cars/homes.

If some or all of these characteristics ring a bell thats because that is what playing fruits full time has done to your life. Left you with no aspirations or healthy peers, outcast from society you can't even get a loan from the bank. Sad but true.

This is the devil's game, just like drug dealing, living off money born from others unhappiness will only bring you unhappiness yourself in the long run. As is the way of Karma, tainted money brings misery to most who touch it.

Maybe thats just my darker perspective on life, but personally a pro fruit player is something I'm embarressed to call myself, however well I've done from it. You are one notch above a criminal in society and treated as such regularly unless you flash your money about.

By the way people who think it's shit the moment that because we haven't had the mass of quaity new releases we've been spoilt with the last couple of years. Thanks to shit players who sell info on sites like these the rats aren't off your level of info now. They have more motivation than you because they are newer to the game and hungrier for the money, so you find your area burnt by people who've taken half the money you would have but have still ruined things for you.

I will stand up and say I'm not a pro player I would like to think i play in a pro manner tho if that makes any sense.

I work silly hours a week and unless I become un-employed (hopefully I don't) then I won't take the playing path but on the other hand I'm happy with my life and going out at least once a week is huge boost to my wages.

The funny thing is I like playing, I have a few beers when I'm out and watch the football etc and just enjoy my day out around different centres etc.

I often think about full time but I would never change my life style atm and try and have a go full time.

I don't really save of fruit machines I use that to by stuff and try to save my wages for bills every year insurance tax general stuff. The fruit machines are holiday funds and gym member ship etc for new year. Actually for the last 6 weeks I told owa lass I will give her half so we can both go on holidays and gym together. I always say the machines pay for it not me because I don't mind going out and getting it.

A lot of you might think why has he posted all this but most of you are full time I thought I would just say what fruit machines are like for me.

So are you describing yourself as an obese, trampy-looking virgin Billy-no-mates kinda guy Mr Horse?

I honestly can't see the point in going around playing fruits in Stone Island/Armani sort of gear (Like most do) as surely this brings its own problems.

For me, I'm not excessive in any way apart from a decent car.

I was brought up with nothing, and so all I have is what I've earned. With no help from the government at all.

One of the better posts i've read on here. I know very few players who are truly happy with their lives, even one or two who have saved hard are still pretty miserable and feel life has passed them by while they've immersed themselves in fruit machines. One in particular has kids but never sees them as he's too busy out playing, and would rather dump them on his mother than spend time with them. Very sad, nobody really has a good word to say about him either.

I've said this before, I admire the lesser players enthusiasm and work ethic, recently these factors have been enough to earn any sort of player good money, especially if they live in a city. But the problem is they then come on here raving about how much money they've made, and off which games, drawing more people into the game. Its not about the money, they just can't help themselves but boast because they want everyone to think they are something special, when they are just delinquent idiots.

You're right Rich.

As I've said to a few people, I'd happily swap all I've earned and saved for a wife & kids. I've still got time on my side - just!

The only reason I still do this is to have enough Capitol to start a business and have something left if it goes tits-up. Recently, I've started to lose interest in fruits altogether, so have started to enquire about a property maintainance company with another player and his mate from Eastbourne.

Surely we should all have a goal, or it'll all be a waste of time.
