get 140 off bank job, and on collecting somehow the machine manages to spit about 1 in 10 nuggets into the cashbox... what a fucking con, ended up with 127.

I've not had this happen in established arcades or pubs, but I've certainly had it at travelling fairs, where it pays me a pound less than what the bank was. Someone here mentioned Bellfruit cabs. Can't remember whether it was Bellfruit or Barcrest with me, or even older/extinct manus, so I'll have to pay more attention.

Bell fruit cabs are the worst I think... I remember power 5s use to bump you loads of coins. The older crest cabs use to love a good £ bump too!

Bellfruits main problem was the pound drop through into the bottom.
Barcrest cabs were the hopper jam then alarm. If landlady/landlord were a decent sort, you could ask them to violently shake the machine to release the blockage!
