Numb the pain with alcohol, mate.

They sell alcohol in pubs.

Pubs also have fruit machines.

Everyone's a winner!

The trouble is nixxy is that it's my love for alcohol and medium rare fillet stake and a generally unhealthy lifestyle that contributes heavily towards it!!!

No, my dad is tho, kind of runs in the family.

Maybe just drink more water and prune juice to flush the system!!!

I used to be a heavy drinker, I drunk every day for a good few years (going in shitty pubs for machines caused this. When I decided to come off the beer, a bout of the gout always came on in my foot below the big toe. Agony!

I've literally had to cut fruit machines/boozing down to 2 days a week now for the sake of my health. And the gout hasn't come back in over 6 months.

I make a little bit of money a week now on low stakes sit & go poker on-line, clever systems for sports betting, arbitrage betting another £20 a week filling in on-line surveys, a bit of paid mystery shopping & bulk buying/dropshipping on e-bay. If I want to go out for a drink, I'll have a little fruit machine round where I'm like a regular to the landlord, stay for a drink and mingle with the locals, so I "socialise" for free, or usually a small profit. Just taking things a little easy now.
