INVINCIBLE and strange memories

So an Invincible £35 popped up in my local, been having some fun with its a great machine for punters to play lol. First thing is it made me think, reds havn't changed their payouts much since the 35's. During the £35jp era u knew if it was red you have more or less got a gurenteed £70 comming minimum, hopefully you would get a 105 or a 35 then a couple of boards later the 70 for example. Nothing changed when the Jp hit £70. You would get the JP then they could give random amounts of 10's and 15's or w/e up to a £105 - practically the same as the 35's with the exception that you might on rare occasions get a 70 - 70 or on very rare occasions a 70-105 - both those payouts were very rare and you would generally end up with the same profit as a 35red - (this isn't including when Our beloved reds changed shortly after the temple of treasure was released etc). I can't comment on the 100's as other than a couple of awp's I havnt messed about with them, thought it was a good time for the misses and me to have a break for a while and enjoy some of the other pleasures life has to offer.
So my strange experiance regarding the Fairly oldskool now Invincible was this and I wonder if anyonelse experianced this or can explain it.
The first unit I came accross was at the redditch train station pub. It was red but the boards were taking 2-20 pound a board, 20 might have been a bit much but the boards were a lot harder toget and numbers rarely held. it was a £25er btw. So I was £120 in and all I had was 1 £25 top. After £140 it gave me a 75£ top, I carried on because it was red from the start and was so much in, a tenner later it gave me a second £75 top. I tried 1 more board and it was still red (after paying out 2 back2back £75 tops) remember it was only a £25jp invincible. I didn't really know what to do at this point, so I carried on and it took all the money back and another £60 to get my next £75 top so I was £200 in. I the. Got a 50£ top then another £50 top so I had around £150 back from £20" and it was still red. The problem was the boards could cost ALOT although Bonuses would be good if u could get one, lots of number runners and random stops sometimes landing on 99nudges. The skill shots were also fairly common in comparison if it would hold that far. Anyway I didnt really know wha to do, I could tell It was playing completely wrong from its basic reel play. I didn't want to go through it all again so the next board, which was still redding I collected a 99nudge tenner as It was harsh on the gambles but any invincible was like that.
So I left some 40-50£ down, no biggie and very confused at its gameplay. When I came back to it the next time I was there it was red again, the reel play still played like a bitch but this time I was able to get 50top shortly followed by a 75 top. I made a quick 90profit so I was happy, I checked another board and I got on from a number runner, I gambled up to super streak and was left on a 7 to gamble to the mega so because I was nicely up on it I collected the super that went for 30£, 3x10's so I left it the .
I started comming back to it twice weekly and it was red constantly but the downside was feel play was tough and it could happily give you just 10boards in £50 worth of credits. I changed the way I played them to not gamble on 5's-8's as you lose most the time on reds on those numbers etc. if I was on a small amount id gamble but Invincibles loved to leave u on a 6 or 7 on super streak making the gamble to mega practically impossible, on those occasions Id always collect and the super which would go for any amount in tenners or fivers between 10&50£. Without getting to greedy because I know this particular invincible can and will suck id just take profits of anywhere between 50 - 150. It went after a month so I was a little gutted as it really felt like a game of pure skill know what to take and when to take it because getting boards sucked and when u got a board it just played like any invincible redding and the wierd eat thing was it was permantely red.
A couple of weeks later an invincible appeared in Bham cc in a gay bar of all places and it played exactly like the one in redditch, sucked for boards but permantely red. most the time I could make a quick 50-150 and be done with it. there were times I got into so called trouble on it if I couldn't get anything decent out of it and being 100in but my best result was 3 x75 tops within £30 worth of credits. Even after that it was still redding but I knew it could suck a lot of money so I'd just be happy with what I got. I went there more or less every evening, obviously bought plenty of drinks to keep money going in behind the bar and half the time the music was loud so they couldn't hear all the money comming out - the 2machines were punted a lot (most gay places they are) and the machine next to it changed twice from an Italien job (turbo cash) to a top gear (remember those? - the final rev/battle axe clone that gambled up from first feature - fun to play).
Anyway - did anyonelse come accross an Invincible on that wierd setting where boards costed but it was red 100% of the time? Only came made me remember recently from playing one in my local.
