My favourite N64 game!
My favourite N64 game!
It would have to be GOLDENEYE. What a game! Looks BBC BASIC on today's standards, but I remember at the time it being very atmosphere and captivating. Played it for hours.
And a very close second place would have to the STAR WARS game. Can't quite remember the full title, but you played a made up character ( looked like Han Solo and fly a ship that looked similar and was called the Outlander??? I think ). There were loads of levels including the infamous AT-AT attack on Hoth with snow speeders. Again fabulous game, kept me going for hours.

Can relate to every single word of this post! Used to have to come off Zelda with motion sickness!!thecannonball89 wrote:Golden eye was a classic. what about perfect dark, the multi player mode was like golden eye but you could add in bots, was a great game to play with mates.
If were talking 1 player then it has to be zelda. must have racked up 100s of hours as a kid playing that.
Goldeneye 64 was awesome for the time, but how badly has it aged?
The only think I never liked about it was the aiming - moving the reticle rather than the screen itself....sort of came away all goggle eyed!!!
Then the guys who left Rare went on to form Free Radical who made the Timesplitters games and again you had to move the reticle in one of the best FPS's ever made - Timesplitters 2. Now there's a game that should be an XBLA title.
Favourite N64 game? I quite liked Jet Force Gemini.
