Someone has emulated some Barcrest export machines in the app store.69p each. They are from the early eighties, though. one is called Big20Joker. Quite fun, for about five minutes lol.

I got stuck on level 285 until someone told me there is a bug on the iPad version. Need to pay through it on a pc.

anyone have any thoughts on the ouya ?

apparently its a kickstarter backed console being released for 99quid in june available at game .

its basically a cheap alternative to xbox/ps/ninty etc ,,,,,,,,, its android based , so wont be very powerful in comparison , but the price reflects this etc

it may seem like just mobile phone games on your tv etc ,,,,,,,,,, but with a proper controller ,,,,,,,,, and it will be open source , with around 200 games at launch alone ,,,they will all be free to demo/play ,,, with micro transactions being the order of things etc,,,,,,, plus there will be emulator's available for snes/n64 etc

sounds fair for the price ,,,,,,,,,, im in

google ouya to find out more

Candy crush saga my next download then. I must admit i saw the picture and thought "Oh God, another boring make a row of 3 things game"
I guess there's more to it then if people are playing 285 levels.

As for Ouya, not heard of it until now. So its basically 'apps' on your tv. No more annoying swiping, proper controllers. Things like that Doodle Jump on there no doubt. We saw a large version of that in Lakeside Bowl when we went there to kill the Let's play dond before cf got there.
