What are the differences between DX, WDX etc?

As the title. ^^^^
Not a lot of difference between a DX and a WDX ... something to do with the display ratios on monitors.
A PDX is a pseudo-dx which has been cobbled together from artwork of similar type machine so may not be totally accurate.
