I think it's Epoch tech.

Basically there's no Emulator available to code the roms into a running machine. Same with Red gaming there's a problem with hopper security.

It's a shame that Epoch has not yet become emulated - I thought there were some good machines that used that tech. Global had a good spell with things like Bat Out Of Hell, Beaver, etc. that whilst not overly profitable in the wild, would be fun to play now, as they had so much going on...

Does anyone remember perusing Reds old website, where it had a 'walkthrough' of their production line. There was photo of one of their guys testing a machine, but 'virtually' on a computer. If only someone would leak THAT bit of software. :)

not only would that emulate any red, it would probably have many more functions to track errors..

it would be very helpful to anyone who plays the machines for a living...
