anti bot measures

Post by mr lugsy »

just had a little poker game on pokerstars (also known as jokerstars to players who get the hump when getting outdrawn).
only a little 3 dollar single table affair :o ops: , but i need to get my balance back up in some lightweight company.
i got down to the final 4 really quickly with the chip lead all the way . the game then slowed dramatically with nobody willing to risk getting the bubble . then a text appeared in my chatbox asking me to type DRUIDIC within 10 seconds and i had to oblige. i have never seen anything like this, the other players did'nt seem to know what i was on about though when i asked them if they had the same message appear.

fairplay to pokerstars for initiating this system all the same.

their gui program scans your computer for all of their known bots too.... if it finds one all you get is an error message basicly telling you to fuck off

and if you have two computers and try to sit on the same real money table, it tells you you cant..

quite clever.. simple, but clever
